Electrical Exam Preparation  and Electrician Training Programs

My name is Paul Abernathy and I am the CEO and Founder of Electrical Code Academy, Inc., a premier electrical training provider located in the great state of Texas. However, we have students all over the world enrolled in our electrical training programs.

 

You may be familiar with my name as the author of books on the electrical trades for master electricians or journeyman electricians but I also serve on the National Electrical Code Making Panels 5 (Articles 200 and 250) and 17 ( Articles 422, 424, 426, 427, 680, and 682). You can validate this by looking in the front of your 2017 or 2020 NEC just to help establish who I actually am. I have been an Engineer II and Senior Electrical Plans Examiner for the City of Richmond, VA, and Code Supervisor for the City of Alexandria, VA, and also the electrical expert for the southern region of the US with the National Electrical Manufacturers Association, also known as NEMA. I am also extremely proud to say I am a Master Electrician in multiple states as well.
